Voyder
Originally from Bristol, Voyder uses the most traditional styles of art while utilising the most up and coming techniques. His work transcends space, refusing to be controlled by the edges of a canvas. Many times he mixes the canvas and the wall, this comes from a desire to involve himself with the space but at the same time being able to focus on a central aspect. The canvas almost become a close up.
Believing that the works must be aesthetically pleasing first and foremost, Voyder sees the nudes as an "updated for the masses" version of the more traditionally depicted nudes which have appeared in the cannon of the history of art from the classical age, through the renaissance nudes and up to the contemporary scene.
