FRANCIS ACEA
Francis Acea was brought up in Cuba. Since his early career as part of the collaborative Ordo Amoris Cabinet, Acea has expressed interest in culture and economics. As a solo artist he went to the US in 2003 and his attention shifted towards ideas of American consumerism and symbols of value; this has included an interest in the art world and its dual nature: the blurred lines between the creative artistic process and the business market.
