Megan Marrin
Megan Marrins work often has a feeling of timeless melancholia. This sense is helped by her use of vintage photographic material that she has amassed over time from estate sales and flea markets. She derives a lot of her influences from literature, music and dialogue.
Living and working in New York she has exhibited painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media throughout the US and in 2005 was recognised by Art Review as one of 25 Emerging US Artists in an exhibition at Phillips de Pury and Company.
